Georgia disrupts No.. Kentucky (AP) Thompkins 25 10

Athens, GA-Trey Thompkins scored 25 points and the upset No. Georgia. 10 Kentucky 77-70 on Saturday, pulling away for his ninth consecutive victory.

The Bulldogs (12-2) stamped himself as a competitor in the Southeastern Conference opener alignment a seven consecutive victories by the Wildcats (12-3, 0-1) in the largest two-year coach Mark Fox victory.

Only a handful of Kentucky fans were visible in usually red dressed crowd, while many others roamed around of the exterior of the building in a futile search for tickets.
